The 5th World Cup race returned to the Mandalen arena on the edge of Mjolby and the challenge of the Middle Distance. The dry conditions again brought out a large crowd of Oringen spectators who watched the action unfold on the big screen.

But the star of the show again was undoubtedly the King of Middle Distance, Thierry Gueorgiou of France who dominated the race from the 3rd control to take the win by a massive 1 minute 38 seconds.
