spectacle, as the leading time was gradually improved first by Anders Holmberg of Sweden, then the strong runs of Martin Sirmais of Latvia and Anders Nordberg of Norway. But the star of the show again was undoubtedly the King of Middle Distance, Thierry Gueorgiou of France who dominated the race from the 3rd control to take the win by a massive 1 minute 38 seconds.
