historic Eläintarha track in Helsinki on Thursday, with absolutely no preparations. My orienteering season started 16 days ago after a 9 month break. Today I ran the Finnish Sprint Orienteering Champs in Seinäjoki – and lost 7 seconds to the winner, Mats Haldin. A pretty good come back, I would say. I am pretty satisfied with the race, even if I have made a couple bad route choices. The O confidence is restored as I have lost time on longer control distances, not on tricky navigating challenges.
