I had a fine day today in Imatra, at the Finnish Cross Country Champs. I feel like I have adjusted to the time difference and recovered from the altitude shock pretty well as I secured my career top place in a national championships running race by achieving a silver medal.…

Additionally Sjundea IF the Finnish Champion in the team competition with Obed Kipkurui(4th), Jani Lakanen(8th) and me(2nd) on the team. The 12km race was an exciting race with six guys still in the race at halfway, after a rather easy early pace. The next 2km lap dropped a couple guys, but it was the sudden move Jussi Utriainen, made at 8km that separated me from him and the pack following me. Jussi opened a 10 second gap to me in no time and that difference would only get a few seconds bigger over the next 3km. I was able to…
