A VERY LONG DISTANCE
Domenica 15 Aprile, come da programma, ho preso parte alla 3^ prova di Coppa Italia, corsa sulla distanza long, nella carta di Monteferrato, nelle vicinanze di Prato. La gara si presentava sulla carta molto impegnativa fisicamente, da corrersi in una carta particolarissima, su un terreno sassoso, ripido e sicuramente doloroso…

per i piedi; inoltre con un meteo che prevedeva per domenica alte temperature e la partenza posticipata di 30 minuti (quindi con il mio minuto di partenza passato dalle 12.03 alle 12.33), lestremo è stato portato al massimo. Sulla carta quindi questa poteva essere la gara adatta a me (ricordo una Coppa Italia al Monte Ekar nel 2003 corsa con condizioni simili ), peccato che questa volta non sia stato particolarmente performante, anzi Già dai primi punti mi sentivo fisicamente provato, condizione che ha influito anche sulla lettura della carta: molti sono stati gli errori commessi soprattutto in zona punto, dove…
