This afternoon there was a bush fire at the military terrain of Brecht-Brasschaat. The cause is still uncertain, but because of a fast intervenience of the fire guard the damage to the terrain could be limited. However, 10 hectares are burned. I was wondering whether these 10 hectares are located…

on the map of the Belgian championships long distance that will go on in september?? If so, it would be a pitty because it looks a nice part of the map at the pictures.Deze namiddag brak brand uit op het militair terrein van Brecht-Brasschaat. De brandweer was snel ter plaatse, maar moest pompen inzetten om bluswater te halen uit nabijgelegen vennen. In totaal is ruim tien hectare heidegebied door de brand verwoest. Het is nog niet duidelijk hoe de brand ontstaan is. In elk geval waren er geen schietoefeningen aan de gang. Ik vroeg me af of dit stukje heide…
