Yesterday an early test race over 5000m on track took place. After some uncomfortable weeks I finally felt better again in the beginning of this week but as my training started getting more intense again the good feeling disappeared again. Due to that my tactic on the test race was…

also not aggressive. The first kilometre was done in 3:15 but I already noticed that that wouldn’t be the right speed for the following 10 rounds. My speed suddenly dropped to 3:20 per kilometre and I finished in a time of 16:40. Very disappointing 16:40 – 49 seconds slower than my PB. In winter the training was really excellent until the TC in Portugal. Since then somehow nothing worked out that well any more. Also the result at the SpringCup was disappointing. It’s really frustrating as I was really optimistic for this season – but still the season is not…
