Questa la cartolina di Orvieto che ieri mi sono portato a casa dopo aver corso la 1^ prova Trofeo Centri Storici nella cittadina umbra. Come molti di voi sanno non sono un amante delle gare nei centri storici, ma devo dire che tutte le volte che corro in un centro situato nella bassa Toscana, alto Lazio ed in Umbria le sensazioni post gara sono sempre più che positive. Questi centri (etruschi e medievali) sono lideale per queste gare che devono essere difficili (e quindi divertenti) per gli atleti e spettacolari per i turisti: quindi ben vengano vie intricate, dislivelli, portici, piazzette, passaggi davanti a chiese e monumenti, tutti elementi che garantiscono una buona riuscita di questo tipo di manifestazioni.
