orienteering and have extremely wide choice of competitions they can select from. Almost every club organizes at least one competition in a year, where orienteers from the other clubs take part; every orienteer is a member of an orienteering club. I wonder if there are individual runners, without any club membership, who regularly (at least once a week) participate in the orienteering events? Perhaps such sportsmen exist, but I haven?t met any. Certainly it is wonderful that orienteers join each other in the clubs and everyone who wants to join them is welcome. But can you imagine one-day orienteering event…
