Norway team for WOC 2006

The Norway WOC 2006 Team consists of 13 runners - a very strong team as always. Marianne Andersen is the best on the World Ranking in the team with a 4th position - and along with Anne Margrethe Hausken Marianne is among the Norwegian women gold favourites. Both Marianne and Anne Margrethe are reported to be in good shape - ready for medals in Denmark.

Anders, Øystein and Holger
The norwegian men with best medal chances are Anders Nordberg, Øystein Kvaal Østerbø and Holger Hott Johansen. Anders was fantastic in last years NOC with three gold medals - if he found that shape back during his altitude training in Italy the last weeks, he can prove to be a man difficult to beat. Øystein is always strong at the sprint distance - and is absolutely fighting for a gold medal there. Holger has been one of the top world runners for almost ten years, and is still fighting for an individual WOC gold medal after taking home bronze both in 2005 and 2004 at the long distance.
