Ireland team for WOC 2006

The Ireland team for WOC 2006 consists of 6 runners, for which the goal will probably be to reach the A finals.

Ireland did not have a team at WOC 2005 in Japan. In 2004, none in the Irish WOC team managed to reach the finals. Andrew Quin (result history) recorded the best result of the Irish at the classic qualification. Andrew narrowly missed qualifying for the classic final, by finishing 18th in heat B, less than 2 minutes behind the qualifying position in the 10.5 km race.
